One of the outputs of the Identity and Innovation project we worked on with Discover Card in the US was the Discover 2Go Card on a key ring.

Discover card was faced with the issue of being irregularly pulled out of the wallet as the first credit card (that being the domain of Visa and Mastercard). Our process led to a simple insight - don't have it in the wallet in the first place.

Having the idea is less than half the task however and it took nearly 2 years to get this idea to market since when it has massively out-stripped all sales expectations, made Discover Card the category Thought Leader and won USA Today's Best New Product Prize of 2002.
