chad dick | partner, eastcoast

After 14 years of building and managing challenger brands inside large global companies like PepsiCo, Campbell Soup Co., Nestle and General Mills, Chad challenged his own conventional corporate career path in 2007 and joined eatbigfish - the quintessential entrepreneurial and challenger organization -- signing on as our East Coast partner based in the NYC area. Although the latest partner to join, Chad is no stranger to eatbigfish. During his 7 years at PepsiCo, Chad worked very closely with eatbigfish on a number of brand and innovation projects, including work on brands like Mountain Dew, Quaker, Life cereal and innovative start-up brands like Fuelosophy (www.fuelosophy.com).

Chad and Adam Morgan also worked closely on the development of a Lighthouse Branding model and Challenger Approach to Innovation implemented globally across all of PepsiCo. Ultimately through his practical experience with eatbigfish, Chad became such a believer in the principles and practices of Challengers, Lighthouse Identities and Innovation Republics, that he did the only natural thing to do - he joined the company and Challenger Project!

Chad brings to eatbigfish both a broad experience of Consumer Packaged Goods brand building and marketing - on brands like Aquafina, SoBe, Mountain Dew, Campbell's Soup, Nesquik and Wheaties -- as well as a passion for the practice of innovation and for building a "Pirate Inside" culture of innovation within large organizations.

When he's not in one of our workshops or spending time with his wife and 4 children, Chad can be found "challenging his handicap" and searching for a little white dimpled ball somewhere in the deep rough or hazard at a nearby links course.
